I used this today in torrential rain on the summit of a hill. The logbook did not rip and I could write on it with a pencil when soaked.

When I read pocketsize, I thought size of a paperback book. This is actually the size of my female hand. Since its a Christmas gift for my father, I’m sure he’ll still love it. Looks like it’ll do the trick and seems sturdy
