Will a Diamond Antenna NR770HB work on freq 150-155? I’m using a TM-271A Kenwood 2M radio.?

I dont have a good ground for the antenna and I will be using it in the Baja Desert.
I also have a HAMSTICK 9007. The whip stands out of the base at 40 inches.
