I’ve only got about £1500 to spend and second hand could be an option. I want something that covers all of the bands, including as many of the microwave ones as possible. I know I may be limited to only the first few microwave bands.

More than 100 watts would be nice too.

It use to be that one could listen to French radio Stations like Radio France Int., Radio France Culture, Musique etc…on a World band short wave radio. One could listen live all day long. I live in New Jersey and don’t know if these International Radio Stations are still sending a short wave signal .
